Ora Cohn carved this magical piece of art in Fitzroy Gardens in 1934. It took her three years to complete, through sometimes unpleasant conditions. Including insect attacks and harsh weather.

She gifted it to the children of Melbourne and for the fairies.

Its a delightful piece of whimsy and art. Well worth a visit whether you believe in fairies or not.
