Hello, my name is Edwina. Lovely to e-meet you. I hope you enjoy this site.  Please find below a little bit about me and my design journey......

When first embarking on my graduate studies, I completed a year and a half of an arts degree but realised that this was definitely not for me. I decided that I wanted to transfer to a design course. I enrolled into what was then called an Associate Diploma of Applied Science/Architectural Drafting at Sydney Institute of Technology. This was a great decision, I loved it!  I then completed a master’s certificate in design computing and project management to round out my newly attained design skills. After these studies I moved into roles of drafting, design, project management and then practice management, in large architectural firms in Sydney and Melbourne.

One of my most challenging experiences was in the role of Space Planner for the Sydney Olympic Games Headquarters building, where I managed the space requirements for over 20 operational for the Sydney 2000 games. What a triumph!

More recently at Bates Smart Melbourne, my role was as Studio Director and Practice Manager. Here I oversaw the operations of the studio. I felt very fortunate that my design eye was well fed in this wonderfully creative environment. The award-winning team was responsible for world class architectural and interior projects, which I relished. It was during this period my Pinterest usage peaked, as I sought to quench my creative side.

Since moving to the Mid North Coast of NSW in 2019, I have re-amped my creative side, focusing on some key residential projects ranging from total refurbishments to interior styling. I have had such fun and success doing these projects and look forward to completing more, hopefully in collaboration with you!

​

In addition to styling and design, I have also started to take photos to create some unique wall art for my interiors. Check these out in the Art section of the web site. The images are limited additions and are available to purchase in high resolution, ready for printing to meet your interior space requirements.
